Li Yuanchao Meets Former Japanese House of Representatives Speaker Yohei Kono,

The CPC Central Committee Political Bureau, member of CPC Central Committee, the Central Organization Department Minister Li Yuanchao, 11, met in Beijing on the afternoon before the House of Representatives Speaker Yohei Kono of Japan and nine Japanese Youth Delegation to China, some members of the leadership.

Li Yuanchao recalled the visits of leading cadres and Japanese youth exchange program founded decades of fruitful results and spoke highly of the positive significance of the project. He said that both China and Japan should focus on the trend of Sino-Japanese friendship to further strengthen cooperation, perseverance, young cadres to carry out exchanges between China and Japan in order to increase people's mutual understanding, trust and cooperation for the development of Sino-Japanese friendship and make greater contribution.

Kono said Japan will continue to promote exchange visits between middle-aged leading cadres for the Japan-China friendship from generation to generation to do more work.
